“2 ° PIANO ART RESIDENCE” is an independent artistic residency program, an artist-run space that hosts artists called to explore, interact and reinterpret reality. The artist Cristiano Pallara opens the doors to welcoming artists, creatives and curators on the move, activating a virtuous and shared process of research and experimentation.

From local to global and vice versa, the social and urban fabric becomes the subject of investigation and artistic production , to reflect at 360 ° on the dynamics that involve everyone : from the environment intended as a climax to the habitat that welcomes us and in which we move; from the concept of territory and space to the overcoming of borders intended as a common space of interaction and overcoming of limits; from sociability to welcoming and sharing; from the private to the common good.

Art can activate virtuous devices able to help us decode our time and our space. Focusing attention on the local point of view can, through art, reflect and restore the global dimension of a civilization and its time. Art can tell about a community and its reference macrocosm, in this sense the artists are interpreters of a global and social scenario.
